In high-Tc cuprate superconductors, many problems are still unresolved. We focused on the dependence of Tc on the number of CuO2 planes this time, then investigated tri-layered high-Tc cuprate Bi2223 using ARPES measurements. We discussed the ARPES results on tri-layered compounds, comparing with the results on single- and double-layered compounds. In conclusion, the higher superconducting gap leads to the higher Tc in cuprates.
