Palladium-hydrogen system is an interesting system as high concentration hydrogen-storage alloy because palladium absorbs hydrogen atoms at interstitial sites of the fcc structure.
It was reported that palladium-hydrogen system has the phase transition at the vicinity 100 K by migration of hydrogen.
In this experiment, the specific heat of the system at low temperatures was measured in order to clarify the mechanism of migration of hydrogen for this transition.
パラジウム－水素系はfccの結晶の格子間位置に水素を吸蔵し、高濃度の水素吸蔵合金として注目されている。パラジウム－水素系は100 K付近で水素の移動が原因と考えられる相転移が報告されている。
本実験ではこの相転移に関連する水素の移動機構を明らかにするために、低温領域での比熱を測定した。
