In general, magnetization dynamics in a solid as carried shows the resonance with oscillating magnetic field at gigahertz to terahertz frequencies, known as magnetic resonance. In the conical-spin state Ba2Mg2Fe12O22, a sharp and intense resonance is observed around 2.8 meV for the light E vector parallel to the magnetic propagation vector.
In this experiment, the magnetic resonance in Ba2Mg2Fe12O22 is observed with THz-TDS by changing the temperature and the external magnetizing field.
