Recently, construction of various two-dimensional molecular networks utilizing a self-assembly of organic molecules has been actively studied. The 2D Kagome network is interesting because it contains triangular and hexagonal voids which can serve as a site-selective template for guest molecules.
In this paper, a chiral Kagome network was fabricated by using calixarene as a building block.
