Beryllium is an element that superconductivity has been confirmed at ambient pressure. However, the transition temperature is only 24 mK. The value is low compared to other light elements. In our previous study, by applying pressure, enhanced superconducting critical temperature of beryllium was found in a pressure range where an unusual c/a ratio was observed. Then I'll introduce the X-ray diffraction and electrical resistance measurements I have done to investigate interaction between them.
