Theoretical investigation on thermopower of metal complex - metal junctions
Abstract

In this presentation I will introduce my research field and the basic concepts needed for theoretical investigations of charge transport. The origin of thermopower[1] and the improvement of efficiency through molecular junctions will be explained[2,3]. Also, a short introduction to the program package SMEAGOL[4,5,6] will be made, which is needed for transport calculations. Lastly the systems to be investigated[7] will be shown and possible future variations of system properties will be displayed.
