Title
High performance hybrid organic thermoelectric SWNTs/PEDOT:PSS thin films for energy harvesting
Abstract

Hybrid organic thermoelectric materials have gained myriad attentions as alternative materials for energy harvesting, especially in the range of middle temperature. In this paper, hybrid organic thermoelectric materials have successfully fabricated by direct vacuum filtration method. Highly conductive poly(3,4 ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(styrene sulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS) was combined with single-wall carbon nanotubes (SWNTs) with various comparison in wt%. PEDOT:PSS coated the surface of SWNTs lead to create electrical connecting junctions between SWNTs. The reliability test, electrical conductivity, thermal conductivity, Seebek coefficient measurement and also observation of microstructure of the composite by SEM have been conducted in this research. The considerable ZT value up to 0.12 was achieved in this experiment for 60 wt% of SWNTs, which is generally higher than those reported in previous studies. Our methodology may provide proper strategy to synthesis hybrid organic thermoelectric materials.
