Title
Theoretical study on conductance switching of Iron-complexes in molecular junctions
Abstract

Thermopower is the ability of a material to create a thermoelectric voltage through a temperature gradient. This can be applied to reduce heat waste. One approach to create materials with high thermopower efficiency is the use of molecular layers between two materials. In this presentation one potentially efficient molecular junction consisting of a terpyridine iron-cluster and gold electrodes will be presented. Previous experimental studies have shown conductance switching for this system. The reason for this behavior and it's effects on the Thermopower were investigated.

Side Note: This Presentation is the direct succession to my last presentation "Theoretical investigation on thermopower of metal complex - metal junctions".
